The Duke of Edinburgh's Award

Dumfries and Galloway Council has held a license to run the Duke of Edinburgh's Award for the young people of our region since the 1970's.

The award nationally and locally has gone through a number of changes, but has always aimed to inspire, guide and support young people in their self-development and recognise their achievements.

Now running in 16 Centres across Dumfries and Galloway, we are more committed than ever to provide an exciting opportunity for all young people to achieve an award that is fun, challenging, and personal to them.
